Order Processing Times:
Online orders will be processed within two business days. You will receive a notification when your order has shipped. Online orders will be processed Monday-Friday. Orders placed on the weekends will be processed the following Monday, and those received after 4 pm (AST) will be processed the next business day.
If an item is on backorder, a staff member will communicate that information and make every effort to ensure the item will be shipped within four weeks. Custom orders or non-stock items may take 4-8 weeks to create and procure. Please contact the Shearwater Aviation Museum staff for more information about custom orders at email@example.com.
Free local/contactless pickup is available for customers within the Halifax Regional Municipality. After placing your order and selecting local pickup within 1-2 business days (for all in-stock items), we will prepare the item(s) for pick-up and advise you an email that your purchase is ready for pick-up. Pick-up is at the Shearwater Aviation Museum Gift Shop, 34 Bonaventure Street, Shearwater, NS, B0J 3A0, between Monday-Friday, from 9 am – 5 pm (AST). Please have your confirmation email with you when you come to pick-up your order.
Local delivery in the HRM is not available at this time, unfortunately.
Shipping within Canada:
Shipping of domestic orders is done using Canada Post.
All orders are subject to a $3.00-$5.00 handling fee, plus postage required to ship. Shipping times depend on your location.
We are located in and ship from Shearwater, Nova Scotia.
If you need any assistance with your order, contact us immediately at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will not be able to make changes to your order once it has shipped.
Please review and ensure you have entered your correct address. We are not responsible for non-delivery due to errors in the address you have provided.
For calculated shipping rates: Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

How do I check the status of my order?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for Canada Post to update the tracking number in their system.
If you haven’t received your order within 14 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at email@example.com with your name and order number, and we’ll look into it for you.
In-Store & Online
The Shearwater Aviation Museum will refund, credit or exchange purchases within 30 days of purchase, provided the item is returned with proof of purchase. The purchase must be complete in the original packaging, unopened and unused.*
The Shearwater Aviation Museum will pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
If you need to return an item, please Contact Us with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. We will respond quickly with instructions for how to return items from your order.
*Return Policy Details:
Products without a proof of purchase: Items returned without a receipt in-store will be issued gift certificate in the value of the lowest selling price the product was offered within the past 30 days.
Opened, damaged or not resalable condition products: Products that are opened, damaged or are not in resalable condition may not be eligible for a refund or exchange. All returned products are subject to an inspection.
Clothing items: Must be unworn, unwashed and with the original tags still intact.
Not returnable products:
